Punchestown, the home of Irish jumps racing concludes the National Hunt season in Ireland with its festival of racing and Realta Horse Racing Club’s very own Danielle’s journey runs on the penultimate day of the festival, named on the same racecard as some of the sports equine superstars.
Danielle’s Journey, a 2010 Presenting filly out of the dam Harringay goes into the race with her form reading 2, 2, 1 after an emphatic win at Down Royal on St Patrick’s Day. The ITBA Fillies Premier Bumper, a race that 2015 Cheltenham Mares Hurdle winner Glens Melody and unbeaten WP Mullins mare Morning Edition have won in the past three years showcases well the quality of fillies born in Ireland and the acumen of the standing stallions.
Realta Horse Racing Club is delighted to have reached such a prestigious stage in our first season. Founded in November 2013 we have made massive strides forward and will continue to develop our Club and horses in training. This season will be the cornerstone of how we build moving forward – we have tasted success and we are hungry for more.
