Like the rest of us at Realta Horse Racing Club the answer is probably not, but if you have ever wondered what it would be like to be a National Hunt racehorse owner these are a few of the “perks of the job”.

Realta Horse Racing Club offer professionally run National Hunt racing syndicates with horses trained by Stuart Crawford at Newlands Farm (Co Antrim) and Andrew McNamara at Charlestown Stud (Co Westmeath). Realta offer 5% and 10% syndicate shares and bring all the fun and excitement of owning a thoroughbred racehorse at a fraction of the true costs of ownership.

Realta are a member of the Association of Irish Racecourses and run our horses in Ireland, and at times in the UK. When you join us at Realta we are with you every step of the way through the racing career of your horse and you will receive regular communication to keep you up-to-date with your animals development, progress and wellbeing.

By spreading costs and relying on equine professionals to select and manage horses Realta Horse Racing Club increase your chances of having a successful experience in one of the most emotionally rewarding sports in the world.

Our goal is to bring a winning experience! As a member of a Realta Horse Racing Syndicate you will join a community of like-minded individuals who share the same passion for horse racing. We offer the opportunity to see the progression of your horse from the training gallops to the Parade Ring, and from the fall of the starter’s flag to the Winners Enclosure.

In 2017 Realta Horse Racing plan to grow again. Our flagship horse Danielle’s Journey will enter her final season as a racehorse as a chaser before becoming a broodmare, trying to replicate her dam Harringay who won in all three forms of National Hunt racing having won a bumper, two hurdles and picked up blacktype in her final season before winning a chase.

Realta have our filly Ricchezza (Danielle’s Journey’s half-sister) ready to make her racecourse bow and are extremely excited about or Getaway ex Jollie Bollie filly who is expected to be a debutante over the winter months.
